Talking Trees: How to Identify Five Invasive Vines

Liz Halford, former Army Officer and current GW Memorial Parkway Weed Warrior will lead an informational talk for one hour, starting in the parking lot of Riverside Park. She’ll focus on how to identify five invasive vines that threaten the trees in Riverside Park, and perhaps your own backyard. She will demonstrate how to cut english ivy to immediately improve tree health, and in the long run, save money and enhance your property value.
Special Guest and Fellow Weed Warrior, “Grandpa John” will join in for the afternoon session.
Meet at Riverside Park (Parking Lot.) The first three people to show up to a session will get FREE Army food – a Meal Ready to Eat (MRE)!
